Hardest Game Mechanic

There are so many games that have levels and mechanics that we love and hate. So, I'm curious about what you feel the hardest game mechanic is and for which game. An example of a game mechanic would be building certain defense structures on Fortnite or even flawlessly pursuing combos on Mortal Kombat without being hit.
